Mind over marathon is an inspired two part film hosted by Nick Knowles. It brings together 10 individuals struggling with mental health into a running […]
Sometimes we don’t know how to verbalise our emotions; no label comes to mind that we can put on what we are feeling. Those are the times that expressing yourself through another medium may help. We have experienced therapists that work with clients using colour, shapes, toys, sand, shells, photocards and many other methods to help them express what they are feeling.
Not only does it help with expressing emotions, it also helps with unlocking thoughts and removing blocks that we don’t even know we have placed in our minds. By working creatively we are bypassing our logical thinking brain and accessing our subconscious mind. Our subconscious is our most powerful ally, but it communicates with images and feelings; Creative Therapy uses alternative tools and techniques to access your subconscious mind, allowing you to get to the root of your problem. It is especially useful, when you can’t quite put your finger on it, but you know something is not right – Creative Therapy is one of the ways which you can uncover the real cause of your anxiety.
Creative Therapy is just as effective via video link as it is face-to-face. Our experienced therapists will guide you to explore your emotions through colour, shapes, toys, photocards, shells using a video link in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Contact us for your free consultation.
